In Cary, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Stanley Dentistry at (919) 460-9665; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is stanleysmiles.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cary follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I honestly believed I’d never sit in a dental chair again as my fear was intense. Not a single member of the staff shamed me! I left with a plan I fealt very safe with. If I could give 10 stars I would! Angi Mozolak

Completely screwed me over with insurance and claims. I'm currently out about a thousand dollars from my estimated reimbursement. I had a procedure done in March, which they still have not sent the correct info over to my insurance for reimbursement. They also RE BILLED my insurance for the exact same services in April, an appointment I did NOT attend. Not only is this causing further confusion for my reimbursement, but it's also affecting my yearly coverage amount. Someone needs to get it together over there.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Stanley Dentistry! I recently moved to the area from Seattle and am wrapping up a four-year dental journey that included extractions, braces, and jaw surgery. Out of everything I’ve been through, the implant procedure I had at their office today was by far the least painful part of the entire process! It’s been a completely pain-free day—I haven’t even needed to take ibuprofen!!! Over the course of my time with Stanley I’ve consistently felt that the team prioritizes my comfort above all else and I truuuuly cannot recommend them enough. Whether you’re experienced with dental work like I am or someone who feels nervous about going to the dentist, you’ll feel incredibly well taken care of here!!!

UPDATE: Megan the operations manager reached out with sincerity to explain an unfortunate combination of 2 errors in my appointment. My fees ended up waived and other issues received openly. Thanks for the quality follow-up. Moves from 2->4 stars, +1 for fixing error, +1 for personal and intentional follow-up. Errors happen, but what matters is how you manage them. Free second opinion? NOT TRUE for me. Sought a “complimentary second opinion” and was charged $194 despite my repeatedly saying I was here for the free opinion only and never told there would be any cost. Then card reader wouldn’t work and taking the number manually didn’t either. This was on top of getting my name wrong so I couldn’t access my forms and making me Google the address of my previous dentist just to put on background form. There was also no option to opt out of their using my photos in marketing. It was 12:00 before I was seen for my 11:00am appointment. So my free opinion cost me $200 and almost 2 hours of my time. I did not feel very comfortable as a patient at any point in this visit unfortunately. Maybe they’re good for others, but my experience says no.

As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of pricing services fairly, communicating clearly, and treating customers with honesty and respect. That is why this experience was very disappointing. I initially came in for what I believed would be a routine cleaning, exam, and X-rays, and the total came to approximately $4,000. After that, I was presented with an additional treatment plan of around $12,000. At my follow-up visit, I received a brief cleaning and a review of my previous numbers, and was charged another $298. My concern is not simply the cost, but the lack of transparency and value provided for the amount charged. Customers deserve to fully understand what they are paying for, what is necessary, and what options are available before moving forward. I take pride in running my own business with fairness, integrity, and a commitment to giving clients the best quality possible within their budget. I believe every business should operate with those same standards. In total, I would have paid nearly $16,000 for one veneer, two crowns, one filling, and a deep cleaning had I continued. I chose to walk away because I felt taken advantage of, overcharged, and unco
